Club Blurbs 

Summer 2

Yoga:  

Come and join our exciting yoga adventure. You will be stretching, doing yoga poses, as well as increasing flexibility. Refresh your body and mind so you can focus and do your best!  

Little Chef’s:  

Come and join little chefs club and become experts at chopping, stirring and cooking.  

At little chefs club you will make fun and exciting meals and snacks which you will take home to enjoy! Will you become the next master chef?  

Stoneyholme Snappers:  

Do you want to have fun and learn more about photography? Then you will love our Stoneyholme Snappers club where you can have fun learning about pictures and take part in photography activities and challenges. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn about how photography works. You will be introduced to different types of cameras/equipment, composing photo scenes, and editing pictures.    

Arabic:  

Learning Arabic can open doors in the future for career and business opportunities. In this club you’ll have opportunities to gain a greater understanding and appreciation of the Arabic culture, through speaking and listening and written activities.   

Buzzing Book Club:  

Would you like to travel to places you've never been before and meet new 'friends' along the way? Do you want to experience the twists, turns and thrills of adventure? Do you want to be drawn into imaginary worlds where the impossible becomes possible? Do you love reading or would you like to love reading? If so, then our Buzzing Book Club is the one for you. Be prepared to jump into the unknown and unexpected!  

Sixes (Cricket):  

Come to Stoneyholme’s Sixes club and learn lots of new skills! You will become masters of throwing, catching, bowling, striking, and fielding.  We will learn the rules, officiate, and play in Kwik Cricket games.   

Outdoor Adventures: (Gardening)  

Come and join Outdoor Adventures! We will be participating in lots of fun tasks in the Garden; from watering and harvesting, to building insect houses and making garden decorations.   

Willow Weavers:  

Be the next super willow weaver. Use the natural resource of willow from the school grounds. Form shapes and creations, using your imagination. Develop your new 3D art skills by designing and making. 

Game Design:  

Dodgeball:  

Come to Dodgeball and learn lots of new skills! You will become masters of dodging, throwing, catching, deflecting, and blocking. We will learn how to play team Dodgeball games and have lots of fun!  

Slam Dunk:  

Come and join Slam Dunk and become masters of dribbling, passing, shooting, attacking, and defending.  You will participate in various drills and will gain self-confidence, determination, teamwork and understand the element of healthy competition. A Slam competition will run throughout the five weeks!   

Lego We Do:  

We will have lots of fun by:  

· Building Space Raiders  

· Using Motion sensors to detect objects  

· Taking part in scientific experiments  

· Using tilt sensors 

Drama: 

Do you like playing games? Do you like performing with your friends? Do you like having fun? Then drama club is for you. We will be creating performances and putting together a final showcase!  

Game Design:  

Come along and design your own games with your friends, to play online. We will upload your created games to the school website for friends and family to play at home.
