Year's 1&2

Creative Expressions Year 1 & 2

In our first week we have created nature bracelets and walked around our incredible school grounds, collecting items already fallen from plants and trees. We discussed how our natural areas make us feel, and commented on the beauty we have around us. The childrens main ideas from this activity was our school grounds and nature itself makes us feel ‘calm’, ‘happy’ and ‘content.’ Great work year 1 and 2!!

For our second week in our creative expression club we have made our own origami butterflies! We used our fine motor skills and following instructions skills to create our fluttering beauties. We then coloured them in, take a look at our wonderful work!

In our third and fourth week we have created our own puppets and story. Then we have acted them out in our little theatre! We had SOOOOO much fun!!!
