Designing and creating cool clay art. You’ll design and make a clay creation in 3D, using special tools, enhancing your skills and techniques using malleable materials. You’ll get to use the school kiln and special clay glazes for your creations.
Photo Walks
Do you want to have fun and learn more about photography? Then you will love our Stoneyholme Snappers club where you can have fun learning about pictures and take part in photography activities and challenges. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn about how photography works. You will be introduced to different types of cameras/equipment, composing photo scenes, and editing pictures.
Outdoor Adventures
Come and join Outdoor Adventures! We will be participating in lots of fun tasks in the Garden; from watering and harvesting, to building insect houses and making garden decorations.

The junior coders will be using an iPad application to create a variety of codes for:
Making a car drive.
Running a race.
Making the sun set.
Making the moon rise after the sunset - Spooky Forest.
Dribbling a basketball.

Game Changer: Design, Create and Innovate.
Children will be Designing a board game using their inspiration to design, construct and learn to develop gameplay strategies (rules) thinking of the process to create works. Working collaboratively (together) to share ideas, give feedback and succeed as a team.
Earth Cubs
Over the 5 weeks, you will learn about different animals in the Arctic, Amazon Rainforest, Serengeti, Great Barrier Reef and Stoneyholme through environmental stories and crafts.
Origami
Origami is the Japanese art of paper folding, and the name “origami” (“ori” means folding, and “kami” means paper in Japanese). To create origami, we will use only our hands to craft a shape out of a simple piece of paper. We will make animals and our favourite characters, and we will watch videos to show us how to do this step by step.
