Towards the end of our Autumn 1 learning sequence, we visited St John's Roman Catholic Church in Burnley. We wanted to learn about different Christian practices relating to confessing, repenting and being forgiven for sins. There were lots of interesting things to learn about at the Church. We found out how and where Catholics confess their sins to God.
During Autumn 2 half term, we explored the question 'Why is the Qu'ran so important to Muslims.
We created Keynote presentations to demonstrate our what we have learned.
In Summer 1, our focus question was, 'How do people decide what to believe?' We used out orienteering skills to find then words of the Apostles' Creed - a declaration of faith made by many Christian communities and individuals.
