Year 3

In order to commemorate World Book Day, in year 3 we decided to choose a character from the book we have been reading for pleasure and draw the character on one of the following items using the pack provided by our teacher. The pack consisted of the following:

 

Paper plate

Disposable cups

Lolly Stick

Cereal boxes

Feathers

Strings

 

The classic Roald Dahl novels chosen were ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’.

During World Book Week we joined two schooltastic webinars, one with Nick Sharratt and one with Doodle boy. Below is a video of children taking part in activities with Nick Sharratt and Doodle Boy.
