In RE we have been learning about the qualities Jesus and how he influenced the disciple Simon Peter. The children hot-seated each other after learning about Jesus the saviour.

The children looked at leaders in their lives and what characteristics they possess.
In the summer term we are learning more about Christianity. Our focus will be on the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity, which consists of God the Father, God the Son and of course God the Holy Spirit. The children will learn that the Holy Spirit was introduced on Earth at a time called, Pentecost. The children will learn that the Holy Sprit has special gifts called, ‘fruits of the spirit’. Children will learn about these gifts and hopefully exhibit many of them in their lives.
