Phonics

In the Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1, children undertake a structured, regular, fun, synthetic phonics programme to help them read and spell words. School follows the Lancashire Red Rose Letters and Sounds planning programme. This is supported by our phonics based guided and home reading programmes.
