Dear parents and carers
I hope you’ve had a lovely summer and you and your loved ones are all safe and well.
We are all very much looking forward to welcoming our children back tomorrow. School starts at 8 30am and finishes at 2 45pm for all children every day. Staff will be available to show you where to go for the first few days so please do not worry.
Many of you have commented on how you liked the end of day arrangements implemented last year as it prevented a ‘crush’ outside entrances and behaviour after school on the way home was far more positive. We have decided therefore to keep the one way system of picking oldest children up first from the playgrounds. Children must be picked up by an adult. If your child is being picked up by anyone other than yourself, please can you make sure they have your memorable word to give to the class teacher. If there are any problems, please contact the office in the morning. For the first couple of days, it might take a little longer than usual for the handover at the end of the day. Children’s safety remains our first priority and while you have one new face to get to know, teachers have 30.
