Dance

In Dance, we will use a stimulus (set of instructions and vocabulary) to create gestures, travelling patterns, stillnesses and explore contrasting emotions with different ways to demonstrate. We will learn how to use canon effectively and use development techniques to perform with accuracy, control and timing. We will perform in pairs, groups and a whole class performance.

OAA

In OAA, we will demonstrate how to set and orientate a map when moving round simple courses. We will plan efficient routes and navigate to control markers during scoring events. We will also experience a simple course using all eight compass points. We will share ideas, encourage others, work in team situations and recognise our successes and ways we can improve.

Working together as a team to solve various problems!

Striking and Fielding: Cricket

Children will demonstrate bowling overarm with accuracy and consistency. Children will also learn how to strike a Cricket ball using a Cricket bat. We will also be demonstrating how to catch and throw a Cricket ball when fielding. We will aim to use all the skills and tactics demonstrated and apply them into a modified Cricket game.
