Dear Parents Seasons Greetings to you from Stoneyholme Primary School.
Christmas is here! It’s a time friends and family come together, when we share our kindness and love with all humanity, a time when we reflect on the past year and look forward to the coming New Year
Lot of us will have started to buy gifts for friends and family looking forward to exchanging on Christmas day. The act of GIVING makes us happy and even happier when we are at the receiving end. (Check our website page on GIVING and the benefits)
Not all of us are fortunate to give or receive for a whole heap of reasons. It can be a mental health challenging month, financially difficult time due to job loss, relationship breakdown, loss of home, not having extended families or any families.
Let’s celebrate the season’s joy with being inclusive, do something different for example join or support organisations in celebrating Christmas day with care leavers meal, Volunteering your time, or the Samaritans helping people online….. Connect with others ……Make the difference…. stay grounded and not fall victim to the Commercial hype.
However remember not to compare yourself and how you celebrate to others, remember to budget and spend within your means, keep yourself safe and be happy.
