Warm welcome to all, come and enjoy the warm space, get some hot drinks, light breakfast or snacks, use the facilities for FREE, relax with games, access information and help from other agencies,make new friends.

Every Monday mornings from 8.30am till 11 am, and Thursday 1 pm-3.30 pm.

Join to practice and improve your English, build your confidence in conversation English as a skill or preparing for employment.

 

It's a dad's life - Understanding the importance of an active lifestyle, get together with other dads and get involved in sports, circuit training, and more......

 

Parents Re-Sync - Do you want an insight into how you can support your child in accessing a centered, personalized literacy environment that gives your child access to more than 6,000 enhanced digital books? Do you want to increase your ability to further assist your child’s education?

Over the course of 5 weeks, you will access the different resources your child is using in school, from PurpleMash to MyON. You will learn how to communicate with your child's teacher through email and how to successfully ‘go paperless’ when making payments for school items such as dinner money and completing online forms. Gain all these skills and much more.

We know that being a parent can be both rewarding and challenging. Our course is here to support you and help you build a strong and secure relationship with your child, whatever their age. Designed to help parents understand how they can help their child get ready for and settle into school (including sleep, healthy diet, play, developing routines, etc.) Parents will develop their confidence and skills to support their children's learning and build relationships with other parents to then be able to support each other.

Coffee Companions

Chat, make new friends, get out of the house, and improve your overall wellbeing.

Come and chat to other local parents over a cuppa, share ideas, common interests or just offload the stresses of everyday life.

 

Chatter Matters

Did you know that good speaking and listening skills give children a positive start to the rest of their lives! Their ability to learn and make friendships depends on it.

You play a very special role in helping your child to talk. As parents, you have more impact on your child's development than school.

Sign up to Chatter Matters to learn how you can use various fun and interactive games to support your child's communication further.

 

Essential Digital skills -  Basic IT course  for parents who have little or no keyboard skills. (Lancashire Adult College)

 

Garden and grow

Nothing beats the taste of fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs grown yourself - or the satisfaction and enjoyment you can get from doing it.

Grow fresh and healthy greens, fruits, and herbs all year round. Grow real food, eat real good!

Colour therapy

Colour therapy can aid stress relief: different colours can have calming effects whilst others can give you a boost. Colour therapy is one of the most holistic and simple methods to cure illness/mood.  Come and join us for this new and exciting course. Take time out for yourself whilst learning a new skill. 

Sessions will cover ‘Colour meanings’ and fun interactive and visual activities. (starts Monday 9th May) IMO Charity

 

PTFA - Parent-teacher friends Association meeting to be arranged. Interested in actively supporting to help raise funds, for projects in and around the school for your children please get in touch.

 

The School appreciates and values the continued support from the community ( and our children) in all  fundraising events.
