This afternoon we are going to start by creating two shadow puppets. The puppets will be based on your invented story. Can you remember the two characters from your story? Have a look at the pictures in the slideshow and begin to think about your puppets.
Now attach the puppets to a long ‘stick’. You can act out your story using the puppets. You will need a torch held by your partner and ‘backdrop’ to watch the shadows on.

LC to set up a simple enquiry.
This afternoon we are going to start by creating two shadow puppets. The puppets will be based on your invented story. Can you remember the two characters from your story? Have a look at the pictures in the slideshow and begin to think about your puppets.
If you are working from home send your teacher a photograph of your puppets and their shadows.
Our task is to create the two puppet shapes from card. We will be using black card. First draw your mini beast shape as large as you can, onto the card. Then cut out the shape with your scissors. Your teacher can help you if you have pieces which need cutting with a craft knife.
