Reading

When we learn a story to tell, we always learn the events in the order they happen. This is a skill we can use in any reading (fiction or non-fiction) to help us clearly understand the information provided.

Before the holiday, we looked at what happens when things that we eat and drink are made. Let's remind ourselves of how apple juice is made.

Now talk with your partner about what happens in the correct order. Use the words first, second and third. If you are at home, talk with an adult in your house.

For example: first, the apple trees are full of flowers.

Now let's look back at the question you were asked to show that you  understood what you read.

It tells us in bold writing to find that answers in the paragraph about apple juice. Then it tells us to use the numbers 1-4 (so we are not ticking any of the boxes for this type of question.) We are even given number 1 so we only have 2, 3 and 4 to use.

Just like you have done with your partner using the words first, second, third, you need to write the numbers in the boxes.

Well done if you knew the answer was:

Your task is to read the passage of text below and answer the question. If you are at home, copy the table into your book and send a picture of your finished work to your teacher.
