You are going to read a short part of a play which is based on a familiar story. Read it as a class first and then answer the questions below.

 

Little Red Riding Hood

Scene 2

 

Mother and Red Riding Hood are standing together at the front door.

Mother gives Red Riding Hood a hug.

 

Mother: Please will you give Grandmother a kiss from me? Tell her I will be visiting her tomorrow.

 

Little Red Riding Hood: Bye! See you later!

 

Little Red Riding Hood closes the door carefully and skips off down the path.

 

Wolf: (with a big smile on his face) Hello little girl, where are you going?

 

Little Red Riding Hood: I have been told not to talk to strangers. Please leave me alone.

 

Wolf: I am not a stranger, I know your Grandmother.

R - Is Mother going to visit Grandmother soon?
