During the next 2 reading lessons, we will be rehearsing and then performing some of the poems we have used earlier this week.
We are going to watch a video where Joseph Coelho explains to us techniques we use when performing poetry.
Joseph Coelho used the terms:
- Tone
- Intonation
- Volume
- Actions
What does he mean by these?
Today, you are going to be rehearsing the following poems, you may recognise these from Monday's lesson. You are being given plenty of time to practice these poems. As you have been given so much time, Mr Hindman and Miss Hall are expecting you to be able to know the poems from memory - this means no reading from your iPads, knowing them off by heart.
