LC: To understand why age restrictions are important and how they help people make safe decisions about what to watch, use or play
Why do you think there are age restrictions on things we use, play or watch?
Have a look at the images below and have a think about the age restrictions on them. How old do you think you should be to use, play or watch them?
So you probably recognise some or all of the images that I have included. The age restrictions for all of the games, social media platforms or movies are listed below. By law, you should only watch, play or use these when you are old enough to do so.
TikTok (social media) - 13 years old
Grand Theft Auto (game) - 18 years old
IT (movie) - 18 years old
Instagram - 13 years old
Red Dead Redemption - 18 years old
Time to Die (movie) - 13 years old with Parental Guidance (PG)
I wonder how many of you have played, used or watched any of these?
