This afternoon we are going to revisit our work on shape.
We are going to be learning about 3D or solid shapes.
Watch carefully
In class we are going to use playdoh to make 3D shapes, so we can count the faces, edges and vertices. If you are home see if you can find any 3D shapes in your house.
For example
tin of beans - cylinder
ball - sphere
cereal box - cuboid
Watch carefully
Look carefully at the shapes you have made or found, let's see how many vertices and sides they have.
Let's use the shapes that we have made or found to help to answer these questions.
If you are learning at home write the answers in your blended learning book and send a picture to your teacher.
