Our vision for music at Stoneyholme Primary school is for every child to enjoy the creative experience of making music, so that they gain a love of music as well as the practical skills needed to play, compose and appreciate music: skills which they will carry with them throughout their school lives and beyond.

Henry Purcell was an English composer who was born in 1659 and died in 1695. He lived in London and is thought by many to be one of the greatest English composers.
