When we are halving items or objects we are putting them into 2 equal groups.
We are going to have a go at the activity below.
If you are in school you will use your play dough and split your whiteboard into 2.
If you are learning from home use pasta or small objects and 2 plates.
Take a photo of the different amounts you have split into 2. Are you able create number stories like the one above?
