Let’s begin by looking at the ‘In Focus’ together.
Thinking back to yesterday, what was the 2 steps we used to help work out the questions?
Step 1 - divide the whole number by the denominator.
Step 2 - multiply step 1 by the numerator.
Were we correct?
Above 3 people have used 3 different methods to help them to work of the same questions.
Sam has used practical resources to help him.
Emma has used a block diagram (we have done this so far this week).
Hannah has used her calculation skills to help her without the need of visual representation.
Below we need to use the methods shown to help us work out the questions. We will complete these on our whiteboards.
