Today we are going to look at subtracting 4 digit numbers together.
This will include renaming.
Renaming, in regards to subtraction, is what we call it when we change 1 ten for 10 ones or 1 hundred for 10 tens ect.
To help with todays work we are going to use the column method.
When we use the column method we always start from the right and make our way left.
Lets have a look at a few examples (these are solved and spoken through on the video).

Now go onto Purple Mash and complete the 2Do called 'Subtract numbers (4 digits)'
