14/01/21

Today we are going to continue to look at what will come next in a sequence.

Remember! Sequences always have a pattern that they follow.

The pattern could be x 4 e.g.

 2, 8, 32, 128,  ...

Every next number is 4 times bigger than the number before it.

It could be - 3

62, 59, 56, 53, 50 ...

Every next number is 2 more than the number before it.

It could be divide by 10.

1250, 125, 12.5, 1.25, 0.125 ...

Every next number is 10 times smaller than the number before it.

Using what you know now, go onto Purple mash and complete the 2do that has been set. Mr Hindman is always on Purple Mash for you to email and ask for help.
