LC- To write fractions as decimals.
We are going to continue from yesterday so make sure you have done that first and watched all of the support videos to help you.
Now think about the following question. You will need to work it out in your books first.
My friend says that 1⁄9 is impossible to solve because it cannot be written exactly using a decimal. Is this true? Is there a way to interpret such a quotient?
When you try to divide 1 by 9 it can't be done exactly. We keep getting a remainder that goes on and on and on. If this happens we need to use approximation. To give an approximate answer we need to stop after 2 or 3 decimal places. We also use the approximate sign that looks like a wiggly equals sign.
Let's learn.
Now complete the Maths NO Problem work on Seesaw.
When you have done that, go onto Manghahigh to compete the decimal work there.
