30.11.20

On Friday we did really well with our work on time. Lets start by recapping what we did. Today you will be working the same topic (working out  how much time has passed between 2 set times by using timelines).

Recap

Step 1: Work out the times on the clocks.

Step 2: Draw your timelines with the times at each end.

Step 3: Add all the O'Clocks in between.

Step 4: Work out the small jumps.

Step 5: Add the jumps together

So lets follow the steps with these clocks

What times are shown on the clocks below?

Step 1

4:35 ---------> 7:20

Step 2: Now draw a timeline. First thing you need to add are the times shown.

Step 3: Now add the hours in between.

Step 4: Next make your jumps and work out the gaps.

Step 5: Now add up the jumps

25 Mins + 20 Mins = 45 Mins

1 Hour + 1 Hour = 2 Hours

2 Hours + 45 Mins = 2 Hours 45 Mins
