So far this week you have done amazing at identifying and naming angles.
Today we are going to take the next step and use what we know to work out the missing angles.
For this we need to remember a few facts.
Now using this information we can work out the following questions:
For this we know that a right angles has 90º.
We also know that value of 1 part of the angle 60º.
So to work the value of x we would need to use subtraction.
We would need to work out 90 - 60. This would give us the value of x.
90 - 60 = 30
x = 30º
Good! Now lets look at another question.
For this we know that a straight angle has 180º.
We also know that value of 1 part of the angle 130º.
So to work the value of x we would need to use subtraction.
We would need to work out 180 - 130. This would give us the value of x.
180 - 130 = 50
x = 50º
