Let's remind ourselves about odd and even numbers.
Look carefully at these cupcakes from yesterday.
What do you remember about odd and even numbers?
That's right all the even numbers can be divided into groups of 2 but odd numbers can't.
Odd numbers cannot be divided into equal groups of 2, like the strawberry cupcakes.
All numbers ending in 2, 4, 6, 8 or 0 are even numbers.
What do you notice?
That's right think about when we count in 2's or the 2 times table.
Can you remember how we found out if 12 was an odd or even number?
If you are at school turn to page 141.
Today you have to work out the answer to the calculation then decide if the answer is an odd or even number.
If you are at home write the calculations and answers in your blended learning book and send a picture of your work to your teacher.
