LC: To be able to multiply a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number, using the column method.

Partition 13 into tens and ones 10 3
Multiply both by 3, starting with the ones
3 x 3 = 9
Then the tens
10 x 3 = 30
Finally, add the two answers together.
