We need to round each item to the nearest £1

It's closer to £46. This means we have rounded up.
Basketball
Is it closer to £12 or £13?
It's closer to £13. This means we have rounded up.
Purse
Is it closer to £32 or £33?
It's closer to £32. This means we have rounded down.
Now we have rounded each let's work out the estimate total to the following questions.
What is the estimated total of a basketball and a purse?
£13 + £32 = £45
What is the estimated total of a purse and a shirt?
£32 + £46 = £78
What is the estimated total of a basketball and a shirt?
£46 + £13 = £59
What is the estimated total of a basketball, a purse and a shirt?
£13 + £32 = £45 + £46 = £91
