Mathematics

Read the in focus question carefully.

What is it asking?
How will you work it out?

If we know 2 × 12, what else do we know?

Look at the fact family, what do you notice?

Remember, when you are dividing you must start with the largest number first.

24 divided by 12 = 2

24 divided by 2 = 12

On the pieces of paper you have been given write these multiplication/ divisions.

12 x 4 = 48

60 divided by 12 = 5

7 x 12 = 84

36 divided by 3 =12

9 x 12 = 108

Fold the papers in half so you cannot see the writing.

Choose a paper.

Then, write all the fact families for the multiplication or division you have chosen .

When you have done that, chose another paper and do the same again.
