LC: To write a conclusion to a discussion text.

A conclusion in a discussion text can give a summary of the argument that has been discussed and can sometimes give a suggestion as to the best course of action. 

Look at the conclusion taken from the discussion text: 'Do humans really care about the environment?'

Overall, environmental issues are not going to go away by waving a magic wand and only doing a little bit of recycling. It will take hard work, care and determination from humans to be responsible with all of their waste in order to stop our world from being destroyed. What is your opinion on this issue? 
 

Look at the conclusion taken from your teacher's discussion text: 'Are humans really dealing with global warming?'

   Overall, global warming is not going to go away by waving a magic wand and only reducing greenhouse gases in small amounts. It will take hard work, care and collaboration from governments around the world to take the issue seriously. Also, they will need to be responsible with the amount of fossil fuels and materials they are burning. What is your opinion on this issue?
