LC: To sequence events in a series of logical steps using language of explanation.
Today, you are going to explain a day in the life of a teacher or pupil using a flowchart.
A flowchart is a picture of the separate steps of a process in sequential order.
You will need to think carefully about each step of the day, from start to finish.
Do teachers and pupils have exactly the same day?
What happens first, next, then, subsequently, eventually and finally in their day?
Link language of explanation to each section of the flow chart.
Make sure they make sense in the sequence.
Can you also include any of the new explanation vocabulary we have been learning?
Once you have completed your flowchart and have your key language of explanation words for each section, you will then orally retell the day for a pupil or teacher to someone.
Blended Learning
Take a screenshot of the flowchart and complete it. Once you have done that, log onto Purple Mash and send the screenshot to your teacher through email. If you can not do this, create the flow chart in your blended learning exercise book. Your teacher will ask to see it on your return to school.
