To create and use procedures in logo
We have been writing algorithms to create shapes and letters, in logo we can create procedures so we don’t have to keep writing out the algorithm.
To write a new procedure you click the plus sign.
Give your procedure a name then write and test your algorithm the picture shows the way to write a procedure for a square.
Once you’re happy press ok and the procedure is saved.
Before you try the challenge below have a practice creating the square procedure. Mr Aitken has set a 2do for you on PurpleMash.
