LC: To write a formal letter of complaint
Yesterday, you read about the working conditions for children working in the Victorian mills. You probably read and listened to shocking and dangerous things that children were expected to do.
Today, I want you to imagine that you are one of those children in Victorian Britain. I'd like you to imagine that you are working in a cotton mill during the Industrial Revolution and experiencing what it was like.
YOUR TASK
I would like you to write a formal letter of complaint to the mill owner, which tells him your concerns about the working conditions in the mill.
