Healthy Schools Rating Scheme

Stoneyholme have achieved GOLD for the Healthy Schools Rating Scheme.

The healthy schools rating scheme has been designed by the Department for Education to recognise and encourage schools’ contributions to supporting pupils’ health and wellbeing. It celebrates the positive actions that schools are delivering in terms of healthy eating and physical activity, and aims to help schools to identify useful next steps in their provision.

We were assessed by the following key criteria: A. Food education, including in the curriculum and teacher training; B. Compliance with the school food standards; C. The amount of time children spend on PE each week; D. Participation in active travel schemes.
