We know that when we write the word I in a sentence we should use a capital letter because "I am important!" but we sometimes forget.

 

Let's look at this sentence and see what we think it needs to make it correct:

 

my dad and i love to play football on a saturday

 

How many mistakes did you spot?

  • it needs to start with a capital letter
  • I should have a capital letter
  • Saturday should have a capital S
  • it should end with a full stop

Now it's your turn. Write the date in your book and write these sentences out using the correct punctuation.
