Let's remind ourselves of the different times capital letters can be used in sentences. Watch this video again:
Today, we are going to focus on using capital letters for names of people, places or things (like the days of the week or months of the year). These are called PROPER NOUNS.
Which of these sentences is correct?
My birthday is in august.
My birthday is in August.
Well done if you said the second one because August should have a capital letter because it is a proper noun- it's the name of a month.
