Today we are going to identify and copy words that have been written in the contracted form using an apostrophe.
Let's take a look at one of Duncan's letters together.
When we copy them into our books, we are going to write them as a list (using commas and the word 'and').

Now it's your turn. Look through these letters and copy down the words that have apostrophes for contraction. Write a list of words you find in each letter using commas to separate the words.
Now choose three of your favourite words from the list and write a sentence for each as though you were an object in your tray. This could be your iPad, pencil or pen. The choice is yours!
