Today, we are going to start by reading our story again. As you listen, try to remember who Plop meets and how they describe the dark. If you are at home, you can listen to the story. Click on the picture below:
The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark
Your first task is to write a list of the characters Plop meets and what they think of the dark. The first one has been done for you.
You second task is to write to the boy who said dark is EXCITING as though you were Plop.
- Plop might say thank you for telling him what fireworks are.
- He might describe what he saw (this is when you can use adjectives in your writing) when he watched them with his mummy and daddy.
- He might finally tell him what he thinks of the dark now.
