LC: To write a description of a setting
Today, you are going to write a description of a Victorian workhouse. Before we do this, we need to gather some ideas. Read Chapter 4 of Street Child below and make some notes for your writing.
Next, have a look at some of the workhouse descriptions written by Year 6 pupils at Robin Hood Primary School by clicking the link below.
Finally, have another look at the video clips that we watched last week (Week 6 - Tuesday 8th December - English).
When you are watching the videos, think about your senses (see, touch, smell, hear, taste). Add these to your notes.
