Today we are going to use the same writing skeleton we used yesterday. This time we are going to draw a new food chain to use in our writing next week.

We have already learned a lot about polar habitats, so we are going to learn about a new habitat.

So now we know lots about an African Savanna, let's draw a food chain to show how energy is transferred between plants and animals there.

Remember, every food chain begins with the Sun. Now we can include grass, a grasshopper, a baboon and a cheetah.

Write the date in your book and draw the boxes.

Thursday 10th December 2020

Draw the African plants and animals in the boxes and label each one with the scientific vocabulary you have learned.

When you have finished, send a picture to your teacher.
