What was the most important achievement of the ancient Greeks?

 

Activity

Prepare an answer to the question above which you will read aloud.

 

 

Listen to your teacher model her persuasive speech about what she believes is the most important achievement of the ancient Greeks.

 

 

 

 


 



 

Prepare your short speech with the text your teacher gives you.

Text 2 Theatre

Text 3 Architecture 

 

Your partner will then take a video of you talking.

You should focus on

- pace (you should not speak too fast or too slow but you can change the speed of your talk to make an important point)

- expression (you can vary the tone of your voice by emphasising some words so that the listener hears them)

- Architecture

- the Olympic Games

- one other topic that you researched yourself

 

A informative presentation will include

- dates

- facts

- the past tense

- significant achievements

- where we can see the influence of the Ancient Greeks today

 

It must be accurate and clear so check punctuatation.
