Addition and subtraction

Today we are going to independently have a go at Review 2 - Addition and subtraction

Turn to page 54-56 in your MNP books.

 To say, write and punctuate sentences in the present tense.

Think about how you can use the knowledge you have gained in Year 2 to improve your writing.

• capital letters and full stops
• present tense verbs
• subheading
• vocabulary linked specifically to birds
• sentences that make sense

To select from a range of tools and equipment to perform practical tasks (cutting, shaping, joining and finishing).
 

Today everyone is going to start by having  a look at their design of their vehicle, cutting out their vehicle and gluing the net together.

When everyone has done this we will move into attaching your axles and wheels.

Can you investigate how people, make different choices about how to save and spend money? 

 If you had £5, what would you spend it on?

Would anyone save their money? Why?

• Spending = using money to buy things

• Saving = keeping money to use later

   

Why might a family save money?

• Holiday

• Emergency

• Big item later

   

Why might someone spend money straight away?

• They need something now

• It makes them happy
