For the next few weeks, we will be listening to, discussing and reading lots of traditional tales. These are stories that have been told and re-told many times, so almost everyone knows them.
Look at the picture above for clues. Talk with your talking partner.
Can you name any traditional tales?
Do you know the names of any of the characters?
Are you familiar with any language from the stories?
(Hint: Run, run, as fast as you can... Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum!)

In PSHCE on last week, we looked at why we need rules in a community.
We are part of many communities from the local (Stoneyholme) to the global (the whole world).
When we are given something that is precious, we take really good care of it.

Our planet can be a place of awe and wonder; however, humans aren't always taking good care of it.

Everybody has the responsibility of taking good care of our planet for those of us living now and for future generations.
Governments around the world have set targets to protect Earth called GLOBAL GOALS.
Global Goal 13:3 says that we have the responsibility to teach people about how to take care of our planet and why it is important.
What can we do to help protect our planet?
