Split two and three syllable words into the separate syllables to support blending for reading. 

Watch the opening scene- look out for fruit and vegetables Peter tries to eat/steal and garden items. Write a list.

Lets discuss these scenarios and what we would do

Ted's baby brother snatched his favourite drawing and it ripped in half. Ted hit his brother.

 How was Ted feeling?  Did his brother mean to rip his drawing?  What could Ted have done?

 

Amira could see there was only one red ice-lolly left and she wanted it. She pushed past her friend to be first in the line.

Was Amira right to push past her friend? What could she have done differently? How can we handle our emotions?
