Subtraction revision- 

What does this mean? 

What happens to the number when we subtract?

What other words might we say instead of subtract?

To be able to make subtraction stories and represent them in subtraction sentences.

Lets work these number stories out together.

 

 

 

 

 

Now you are going to get some counting objects, with your talking partner can you think of some number stories? 

Example,

I have 7 bananas and I ate 3 of them, how many are left?

Theme

The subject of a discussion, conversation or writing.

We couldn't agree about the issue, so we changed the topic.

Expert

Someone who knows a great deal about a particular thing.

Our visitor, Chris, was an expert on the animals in his care.

Amendment

An official change to a contract, law or document.

The amendment to the rules allowed us to play outside for longer.

A picture, photograph or statue that represents something or somebody.

The artist painted a beautiful image of the sunset over the ocean.

Stress

A normal response to life's changes, pressures and challenges. It can often feel like physical, mental or emotional discomfort.

Taking deep breaths, drawing or talking can help reduce stress.
