To use full stops to end simple sentences.

This week we are going to be writing our story we created last week.

We are going to write the first part of the story today and continue with the second part tomorrow.

Your teacher is going to model writing the first part of the story and then its going to be your turn. (When model writing- highlight the parts the children need to change)

You will be looking at your story map to help you with your story writing.
You will use the animals you drew, your problem and solution.

Things to remember when you are writing:

Use your phonics.

Say the sentence in your head before writing it.

Use spaces between words.

Don’t forget capital letters and full stops.

We will use:

👀 Sight – what we can see
👂 Hearing – what we can hear
👃 Smell – what we can smell
✋ Touch – what we can feel

Your Job

At each sense station:

  1. Explore the object using your sense.
