Wednesday
Say and hold in memory whilst writing, simple sentences which make sense including ‘he’. |
We are going to read up to page 10. We are going to use copycat reading, my turn to read and then you are going to help me say the sentence from the book.
Have a look at these pictures.

What did he see? Who did he meet?
Which character is the pronoun ‘he’ referring to?
Talk with our partner.
We are going to write together some sentences starting with the word 'he'. (He went across the stream/He heard the frog's croak)
Can we add the joining word 'and' to the middle of our sentence, now we need to think of something else he saw. (He saw some birds and sheep.)
Now it's your turn. you are going to write a sentence starting with the word 'he'.
Make sure you use:
a capital letter at the start
use your phonics
spaces between words
use full stops.
You could have, if you want a challenge try to include the word 'and' in your sentence.
He saw
He heard
He went
Our environment (both indoor and outdoor) is significant to our work. It can be used to inspire us and influence our work. We can use ideas from what we see to create art, just like the famous British artist Robert Gillmor.
