How did Noah express his trust in God’s promise?

Judaism SymbolThis half term we are learning about a religion called Judaism.

It began a long time ago.

Followers of this religion are known as Jews and they believe in one God.

Jews promise to obey God’s laws to say thank you to him for looking after them.

We are going to read a story that Jews believe is special, called Noah's Ark. Noah was a good, wise man who wanted people to do the right thing and turn to God.

Noah's Ark

How did God show that he made a promise?

Sometimes people might need reminding of the importance of promises, just like some of you might forget some of the promises we made last week.

Jewish people might say that although people often forget their promises, God does not and so they believe that they can always trust in God.

On Sketches, draw a rainbow to show he kept his promise.

Draw a rainbow and write he kept his promise for the LW.

We can retell this story in our outside classroom.

Can you make an ark using the bricks or the lego?
