As a class lets complete the activity sheet below

To be able to read and write all numbers to 10 in numerals and in words. To be able to categorise and count objects only with the same name in a group.

Lets look at this problem together!

Lets use our tens frame to help us count.

Activity time!

Lets go into our outdoor classroom and use our tens frame to make the number of different objects we can see in our maths learning area!

To be able to separate words with spaces.

You have done such a good job over the last few days creating rhyming couplets and sharing ideas for new poems.

Here are the new maps for the innovated poems you have created.

Today your teacher will model how to write the poem using spaces between words. Then it's your turn to show that you can do it, too.

To control the types of marks made with the range of media.

We will be using pencils to draw lots of different kinds of lines.

Take a look at the lines in the pictures. Which will you try out?

How will you use your rubber to create an effect?

Article 24 says: Every child has the right to the best possible health.

Can we identify the parts of the body we cannot see?

Can anyone think of parts of the body we can’t see?

There are lots of important parts of the body that we can’t see.

They all have important jobs to do and work together to help us stay healthy.

What are the different organs in your body?

Year 1 - Science 2025

Lets watch this video about an introduction to the major organs of the human body!

Activity time!

Now it's your turn to complete your seesaw activity!

On seesaw, place the major organs on the human body. Then write the names of the organs.
