Are we aware of how people and their needs change from young to old?
It's really important to talk about change and how it makes us feel. Remember, some people might feel different from us and that's OK!
One of our British Values is MUTUAL RESPECT and TOLERANCE. That means that we should listen to the views of others, even if they are different and respect what they say.
Have you had any changes happen to you? How did they make you feel?
Has anything changed now you are in Year 1?
Babies need milk to grow. They don't have any teeth to chew or eat food.
Babies can't talk; they cry to tell their grown up they need something.
Toddlers:
Toddlers eat food as they have grown teeth to chew and learnt to swallow.
Toddlers learn how to explore the world around them by learning to crawl, pulling themselves up on furniture and walking.
Toddlers learn to say a few words to help them get what they want!
A child is YOU!
You can read and write, make friends and play games.
Now it's your turn to draw a picture (LA-ordering pictures) of how we grow in the correct order.
Baby - Toddler - Child
Think about what we can do and what we need in order to help us grow.
